- Description
Photography has long been known to human society ever since the birth of civilizations. Its main purpose before the Industrial Revolution was to record human activities or promote a religious concept. Only after the Industrial Revolution, photographers became a profession that only a few pursue. Modern photographers produce works for different purposes such as movies, advertisements, or just for entertainment. In theory, everyone can be a photographer as long as they have a camera of some sort: smartphones.
- Impact on job growth
The comprehensive ability to own a camera greatly impacts the future of photographers. As more advanced methods of creating a more ''perfect'' photo are being installed on smartphones, shooting a great photo is something everyone can do. If a photographer has no other skills to back up his or her pictures, he or she will be hard to continue to make a living merely on photography. However, taking pictures can be very helpful as a supplement to many other fields such as marketing and advertising.
