WHAT is this program?“What’s the Future” is an international non-profit organization dedicated to helping students understand emerging technologies and their impact on future careers. Our mission is to prepare the next generation for college and the rapidly evolving workforce by making complex concepts accessible and engaging. We publish articles that break down important concepts across many fields, along with interviews featuring experts and influential voices. With members located across the United States, Canada, and China, we bring diverse viewpoints to our work and offer students a wide-ranging platform for learning and discovery.

WHY is the program important?
Since the Industrial Revolution, new ideas, theories, and technologies have continually reshaped the world, often making previous innovations obsolete. To thrive in a rapidly evolving society, we must stay ahead of these developments rather than react to them. As scientific and technological progress shapes the realities we live in, understanding these advances is essential for anticipating future changes and preparing ourselves for what comes next.
